It is best to get things right with the camera, but that doesn't always happen in a natural environment. Photoshop can fix a lot of color errors and lighting errors and also remove blemishes and such, but sometimes the fixes come at a price. In this case, I think the fix makes it a bit like the background is made of plastic.
